ESPN.com reports that Boykin was arrested in San Antonio early Thursday morning after fighting at a bar and then allegedly striking a bicycle patrol officer. No official charges have been filed against the quarterback, but Boykin has been accused of also striking a bar employee after getting into an argument with patrons inside an establishment called Pat O’Brien’s just before 2:00AM. More details can be found at the link above.

On Saturday the Horned Frogs are set to play the Ducks in the Alamo Bowl at 6:45PM ET. After opening as a 1.5-point favorite, TCU is now -1 according to oddsamkers from online sports book BetDSI. The total also sits at 77.5 points after the number opened at 78.

Boykin threw for 3,575 yards with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season. If TCU decides to suspend or sit the quarterback, the point spread for Saturday’s bowl game will change significantly.
