TCU Horned Frogs Game Notes
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Steven Johnson reports TCU HC Sonny Dykes let redshirt sophomore QB Chandler Morris “take all of the first-team reps” during the media portion of practice this week. Morris (5’11/175) has an opportunity to overtake Max Duggan for the starting role in 2022. Last season, Morris was redshirted, appearing in four games while starting two for the Horned Frogs. The former three-star quarterback started his career at Oklahoma before transferring to TCU ahead of last season. He reportedly took first-team snaps on back-to-back days on Wednesday after rotating quarterbacks with the first team in the previous week.
Colorado Buffaloes Game Notes
Colorado redshirt sophomore quarterback J.T Shrout is back at practice. After serving as a backup in Tennessee for the 2019 and 2020 seasons, Shrout (6’3″/215) transferred over to Colorado with the thought of starting. Unfortunately, he missed the 2021 season after suffering a knee injury in camp. He’ll compete with Brandon Lewis, but Lewis and this Buffalo offense finished near the bottom of the Pac-12 last year and should put Shrout in a position to be the starter.

TCU vs. Colorado Betting Prediction
The Horned Frogs are winless against the number in their last four road games, failed to cover in six of their last seven games overall and are just 1-3-1 at the betting window in their last five non-conference games. On the other side, the Buffs have covered in four of their last five games overall and are catching nearly two touchdowns as a home dog on national TV. Colorado should cover.
