TCU Horned Frogs Game Notes
Chandler Morris was 23-for-41 passing for 298 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday’s 24-21 defeat to West Virginia. He also had 11 rushes for 51 yards with one touchdown. Morris added a rushing score for the third time this season and has at least three total touchdowns in four of five games this year. With TCU’s defense struggling early in the season, Morris has been a consistent fantasy performer. That shouldn’t change when the team plays at Iowa State next week. Keep Morris in that starting line-up.
Iowa State Cyclones Game Notes
Rocco Becht completed 15 of 33 passes for 188 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday’s 50-20 defeat versus Oklahoma. He also had five rushes for 13 yards. Just five plays into the game, Becht committed an interception which was returned for a touchdown by the Oklahoma defense. It was a tough day for the redshirt freshman against one of the best teams in the conference. Interceptions have been a problem on the season as he has five this year, all of them occurring over the last four weeks. He’ll look to turn it around against TCU next week.

TCU vs. Iowa State Betting Prediction
Take TCU. Last week’s run defense issues against West Virginia won’t show up again tonight for the Horned Frogs against Iowa State. TCU has also limited the turnovers since its opening week loss to Colorado and Iowa State has issues offensively. Only Shedeur Sanders has been able to complete over 50-percent of his passes against the Horned Frogs, and Becht isn’t Sanders. Assuming TCU can get off the mat again following its second loss of the season, I like the Frogs to win and cover as a road favorite tonight.
