Texas A&M Aggies Game Notes
Texas A&M backup tight end Max Wright missed last week’s game with a toe injury, and he’s officially listed as questionable for Saturday’s game at Miami. Wright had 9 catches for 129 yards and a touchdown for the Aggies last season. Aggies third-string X-receiver Micah Tease won’t play on Saturday, as he’s been suspended for his involvement in an off-field incident. Tease was a four-star recruit out of Tulsa, Oklahoma and this is his freshman season in College Station.

Miami Hurricanes Game Notes
Miami backup tight end Elijah Arroyo missed last week’s game against Miami Ohio with a knee injury, but he’s probable for Saturday’s game against Texas A&M. Arroyo is a junior and he had 5 catches for 66 yards in a reserve role for the Hurricanes last year.
Miami running backs Henry Parrish Jr. and Mark Fletcher Jr. both had big games in their team’s win over Miami Ohio on Friday night. Both backs ran for over 75 yards and a touchdown on less than 10 carries. Parrish is listed as the starter and he’ll look to build off a solid season in 2022 where he ran the ball 131 times for 617 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Texas A&M was 2-5 ATS as a favorite last season.

Texas A&M vs. Miami Betting Prediction
These two teams played at the beginning of last season in College Station. Texas A&M was favored by 6.5 points and won an ugly slugfest 17-9. This game will likely look quite a bit different as it will be in Miami and Texas A&M will have a new quarterback and a new running back in the backfield. Aggies quarterback Max Johnson started last year’s contest, but he’s been relegated to a backup role behind sophomore QB Connor Weigman. Texas A&M running back Devon Achane plays for the Miami Dolphins now, so the Aggies will likely use a combination of running backs Rueben Owens and Amari Daniels in this tilt. I think Achane was better than both of those backs.
For Miami, they should be much better this season in head coach Mario Cristobal’s second year at the helm. The Hurricanes added 8 new starters through the transfer portal and recruiting, and those players should figure to spur Miami to a better result than their 5-7 finish a year ago. In what should be a tight contest I’ll take the Hurricanes and the points at home.
