Max Johnson is set to get the call with Conner Weigman set to miss the rest of the season with an injury. Johnson brings in a bit of SEC experience after spending time with LSU, and he’s been solid in relief over the past two years in College Station. Johnson went 7/11 for 123 yards and two scores in the win over Auburn, and he’ll look to build on that effort this weekend versus the Hogs.

Arkansas fell to 2-2 after losing to LSU on the road, 34-31. The Razorbacks nearly conquered Death Valley last weekend, and they’ll attempt to get into the win column here in Arlington. Arkansas is scoring 36.5 ppg, while 236.5 passing for yards per game, and rushing for 147.8 ypg.
KJ Jefferson had another close fall last week, as he nearly quarterbacked the Hogs to a huge bounce back victory, going 289 passing yards, with three touchdowns to two costly interceptions. The senior QB is a very dynamic player, but after taking consecutive losses, Arkansas will need a heroic performance from him here in Jerry World. Jefferson has thrown for 918 yards, with nine touchdowns to one interception thru four starts.
