Texas vs. Alabama Prediction
In a rematch of an entertaining game from a year ago, No. 11 Texas will visit No. 3 Alabama at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday night. Will the Crimson Tide cover as a 7-point home favorite or is there a better bet on the board tonight in Tuscaloosa?

Texas Longhorns Game Notes
Xavier Worthy gathered in 7 of 10 targets for 90 yards during Saturday’s 37-10 win versus Rice. Worthy was the only Longhorn to gather double-digit targets which is an encouraging sign as Texas could have done pretty much whatever they wanted against Rice. The star receiver had double-digit targets in four different games a year ago. He’ll need to bring his best game next week as Texas goes on the road to play Alabama. Against the Crimson Tide in 2022, Worthy had five catches (on nine targets) for 97 yards.
Alabama Crimson Tide Game Notes
Coach Nick Saban said Jaylen Key (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Saturday’s game against Texas, Mike Rodak of AL.com reports. While logging four tackles and an interception in Alabama’s season opener, Key appears to have picked up an injury that will put his status in doubt for Saturday’s meeting with the Longhorns.

Texas vs. Alabama Betting Prediction
Give me Alabama. Had Quinn Ewers not gotten hurt last season, the Longhorns would have likely beaten the Crimson Tide last season. From Ewers to Worthy to Isaiah Neyor, Ja’Tavion Sanders and Adonai Mitchell, Texas is loaded offensively. That said, Saban has had this game circled for a year and while Middle Tennessee State is not a formidable opponent, ‘Bama looked like it was in midseason form last week. The Tide had zero turnovers and only were penalized only twice, while Jalen Milroe looked outstanding in his debut running the ‘Bama offense. I think the Tide flex their defensive muscles tonight in Tuscaloosa and win by 10-plus.
