Toledo favored in GoDaddy Bowl
MOBILE, AL (The Spread) – The final “bowl game” of the bowl season takes place tonight at 9PM ET when Toledo meets Arkansas State in the GoDaddy Bowl.

Toledo had another solid season, going 8-4 overall and 7-1 in the MAC. Its lone loss in conference play was to MAC champ, Northern Illinois. The Rockets have won four of their last five games coming into this game and they went 4-7-1 against the spread. The Rockets did go 2-0-1 against the spread in their last three games and they have hit the under in three of their last four games.
Arkansas State dropped two of its last three games this season to go 7-5 on the year and 5-3 in the Sun Belt. The Red Wolves were 7-5 against the spread for the season, but finished 2-4 ATS in its last six games. One thing Arkansas State has done well is hit the over, as they have done so in their last seven games.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Toledo is the slight favorite in this game, as the Rockets are getting odds of -3.5 points against Arkansas State. The over/under total has been set at 68.5 points (View Matchup). These two last met in 1992, with Toledo picking up a 49-0 win.

This game should be a shootout, as both offenses are posting around 480 yards per game on offense while each defense is giving up over 400 yards per game. The main difference seems to be in Toledo’s desire to run the ball and Arkansas State’s inability to stop it. The Wolves allowed 191.9 yards per game on the ground this season while the Rockets ran for 247.2 yards per game. Look for Kareem Hunt to have a big day for the Rockets. He rushed for 1,360 yards and 11 touchdowns this year.
