Knights back to winning ways
After losing two games in three weeks a month ago, UCF has bounced back with a three-game winning streak. That includes a 44-29 win at home over Houston last weekend. The Knights are now 7-2 on the season, 4-1 in the AAC, 4-5 against the spread and 6-3 with the over.
UCF continues to put up big points this year, as the Knights are averaging 46.3 points per game while putting up 551 yards per outing. Defensively, UCF is allowing 22.4 points and 348.1 yards per contest. Dillon Gabriel has thrown for 2,516 yards and 23 touchdowns to lead the offense. Otis Anderson is the leading rusher with 543 yards and three scores while Gabriel Davis is the top receiver with 53 catches for 962 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Tulsa on a big skid
The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes are riding a five-game losing streak right now following a 38-26 loss at Tulane last weekend. The Hurricanes are now 2-7 on the season, 0-5 in the AAC, 5-4 against the spread and 5-4 with the under.
Tulsa hasn’t been too bad on offense, averaging 24.4 points and 403.8 yards per game. However, the defense is allowing 33 points and 407.3 yards per contest. Zach Smith has thrown for 2,440 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead the offense while Shamari Brooks has 753 rushing yards with five touchdowns. Keylon Stokes is the leading receiver with 47 catches for 773 yards and five touchdowns.
College Football Betting Trends
UCF
The Knights have hit the over in four straight games on fieldturf and in seven of their last eight road games against a team with a losing home record.
Tulsa
The Golden Hurricanes have hit the under in four straight Friday games and in five of their last six games in November.
Prediction:
Tulsa has won the last two meetings with UCF, with 55 points scored in the last meeting. The total is being set much higher for this meeting. The Knights are having no problem scoring and should certainly do their part to contribute to the over. However, I wonder just how many points UCF will allow to Tulsa. The Hurricanes have managed to score against bad defensive teams, but UCF is kind of on that border. I think the Knights are going to put up a great deal of points and the pace of the play will lead to Tulsa getting around 20-30 points as well. The Hurricanes can score and are at home, so I think they will do enough to help the over hit.
