Will the USC Trojans cover the point spread as a double-digit home favorite tonight when they host their in-state rivals the UCLA Bruins at 8:00 p.m. ET?
ODDSMAKERS LIKE: USC. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Trojans are 15-point home favorites versus the Bruins, who opened as 15-point road underdogs. As for the total, the number hit the board at 71.5 but has been bet down to 70 at the majority of sports books.

THE PUBLIC LIKES: As of Saturday afternoon, 54% of betting tickets are on the Trojans to cover the small spread.
HISTORICAL TRENDS LIKE: The under and USC. The under is 9-1-1 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams and 4-0-1 in the last five meetings in Southern California. The favorite has also cashed in six of the last eight meetings between these two teams, while the home team is 15-6 against the spread in the last 21 meetings.
WHO WE LIKE: USC. UCLA has been a horrible bet this season, especially on the road. The Bruins are 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games in Southern Cal, are winless at 0-6 against the number in their last six road games, and are 1-11 at the betting window in their last 12 games following an ATS win. They’re also just 3-9 against the spread in their last 12 games overall and have failed to cover in seven of their last nine conference games.
On the other side, the Trojans are 6-0-1 against the spread in their last seven games in November and are finally playing their best football. Sam Darnold isn’t the turnover machine that he was earlier in the season and Ronald Jones has been a monster. Jones is going to carve up this UCLA run defense.
