UNLV Rebels Game Notes
Doug Brumfield went 24-for-33 and passed for 233 yards and one interception with 19 rushing yards for another touchdown during Friday’s 31-20 win over New Mexico. Friday’s game marked the first time in the 2022 season that Brumfield didn’t notch a passing touchdown, but he did rush for 19 yards and one touchdown. He’s proven himself as a versatile quarterback who is a talented passer and rusher and is third on the team in rushing yards with 142.
San Jose State Spartans Game Notes
Chevan Cordeiro went 21-for-37 and threw for 314 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 24 yards and two more touchdowns Saturday as San Jose State defeated Wyoming 33-16. Cordeiro looked strong through San Jose State’s first three games of the season, but his best performance thus far came against Wyoming on Saturday. He notched a season-high in passing yards with 314 and had a combined three touchdowns on the night.
