Virginia Tech Hokies Game Notes
Virginia Tech improved to 2-3 on the season after their 38-21 home victory against the Pittsburgh Panthers. Quarterback, Kyron Drones had a career game accounting for five total touchdowns against the Panthers and was named an ACC player of the week. With Grant Wells likely still out with an ankle injury, Drones will likely be called upon to deliver another big performance if the Hokies have any chance of grabbing a road victory in this one.
Florida State Seminoles Game Notes
Florida State defeated Clemson by a score of 31-24 in an overtime thriller last time out. Jordan Travis threw a 24-yard touchdown to wide receiver Jonny Wilson on the first possession of overtime. The Seminoles’ defense was able to hold Clemson out of the endzone to ultimately seal the deal against the Tigers. The Seminoles had a bye in Week 5 off, they will look to keep their undefeated record in check against Virginia Tech.

Virginia Tech vs. Florida State BETTING PREDICTION
Drones has looked more comfortable each week under center for the Hokies in relief of Grant Wells, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury. The dual threat QB exploited the Pittsburgh defense both thru the air and on the ground last Saturday. Granted, this week is a major step up in competition. Traveling to face the fifth-ranked Seminoles is no easy feat. However, I still like the dynamic Drones brings to this Hokies’ offense versus any opponent. I believe he will be able to do enough to keep Virginia Tech in this ballgame. Let’s back the Hokies.
