According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, Washington is favored at home in this rivalry game, as the Huskies are getting odds of -7 points against Washington State today. The over/under total for this game has been set at 53.5 points. These two meet today at 3:30PM ET on FOX.

The 2015 season hasn’t exactly been a great one for Petersen and the Huskies. They are 5-6 on the season, 3-5 in the Pac-12 and 6-5 against the spread. They need a win today to secure a bowl. Despite that, Washington gave Petersen a two-year extension on Wednesday that will keep him at Washington until the 2020 season, where he will be making $4 million a year at that time. Petersen will have his worst season in 10 seasons as a head coach this year. While his defense is giving up just 18.5 points and 352.7 yards per game, the Washington offense has struggled, ranking in the bottom half of the nation in scoring and total yards.

Washington is going to have to move the ball today as it takes on a Washington State team that ranks first nationally in passing at 406.9 yards per game, which has led to 34.5 points per contest. The Cougars are riding a three-game win streak that has them at 8-3 on the season, 6-2 in the Pac-12 and 9-2 against the spread. Luke Falk has thrown for 4,266 yards and 36 touchdowns this season and he will be the focus of the Washington defense as the Huskies look to win their fifth meeting with Washington State in the last six years.
