Washington State vs. UCLA Betting Trends
Washington State is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games.
Washington State is 19-11 ATS since the beginning of the 2021 season.
UCLA is 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games.
UCLA is 8-12 ATS as a home favorite since the beginning of the 2018 season.
Washington State vs. UCLA Betting Prediction
I think Washington State is the real deal. Their quarterback Cam Ward is having an otherworldly season so far in 2023. Ward has thrown for 1,390 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions while averaging 9.8 yards per pass attempt and completing 74.6% of his passes. On top of that, Ward has 109 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. He’s an incredibly dynamic player and is one of the main reasons that Washington State is 4-0 this season.
Washington State hasn’t been doing damage against cupcakes either. The Cougars have ranked wins over Wisconsin and Oregon State on their ledger already, and they seem poised to continue their winning streak after they come off of a bye for this game on Saturday.
UCLA will also be coming off of a bye. The Bruins’ team statistics look quite good, but their three wins have come over Coastal Carolina, San Diego State, and North Carolina Central. The only ranked team that UCLA played was Utah, and they lost that game in Salt Lake City 14-7. This is a home game for UCLA, but the Bruins don’t have much of a home-field advantage as they are 22-29-1 ATS as the home team since the beginning of the 2015 season. I like the Cougars to either win this game outright or keep it within a field goal at the Rose Bowl on Saturday.
