West Virginia vs Houston Public Betting Information

West Virginia Mountaineers Game Notes
Garrett Greene returned to lead WVU to a win over TCU with a solid, game managing performance, going 10/21 for 142 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 80 yards and two scores on the ground. The Tallahassee native delivered winning football immediately upon returning to the lineup, and as long as he’s healthy, the Mountaineers will have a chance each time out here in conference play. Greene has thrown for 544 yards with four touchdowns to zero interceptions, and he’s added 185 yards and three rushing scores thru four starts.
Houston Cougars Game Notes
Donovan Smith showed up in a revenge spot against Texas Tech last week, going 29-40 for season-highs of 335 yards with four touchdown passes, while adding 59 yards on the ground. The Las Vegas native had his way with his former school’s defense, but his own defensive unit failed to stop anyone as well, and he’ll look to get the Cougs back into the win column this Thursday. Smith has passed 1,347 yards with nine touchdowns to three interceptions, and he’s added 165 yards and three rushing scores thru five starts.

West Virginia vs Houston Betting Prediction
After fighting admirably versus Texas Tech in Lubbock last week, the Cougars will now head home looking for answers. Houston had their best game of the season offensively, and I like that effort pouring into this contest. This one will mean a bit more, as the Cougs find themselves in another revenge spot and will face HC Dana Holgorsen’s old squad here at TDECU on Thursday. I like taking the home underdog shot with Houston here, as they look to find their footing in the Big 12 conference.
