View Current College Football Odds

Western Kentucky finished the season on a strong note, winning its last four games to go 7-5 on the season and 4-4 in Conference USA. In their finale, Western Kentucky handed Marshall its first and only loss, 67-66 in OT on the road. The Hilltoppers were 6-6 against the spread on the year, but covered in their last three games to end the season.

Central Michigan finished its season with a 32-20 loss to rival Western Michigan at home. The Chippewas had a three-game winning streak snapped in that loss. CMU finished the season 7-5 overall and 5-3 in the Mid-American Conference. They were just 5-7 against the spread this year and failed to cover in their last two games.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Western Kentucky is favored to win this game, as the Hilltoppers are getting a point spread of -3.5 points against Central Michigan (View Matchup). The over/under total for the game is listed at 68 points.

These two last met in 2012, with Central Michigan beating Western Kentucky in the Little Caesars Bowl, 24-21. Western Kentucky was a 6-point favorite heading into that game. This game should be interesting as Central Michigan has a pretty good defense and average offense while WKU has a tremendous offense but a very poor defense. The Hilltoppers average over 500 yards gained and allowed this season while CMU posts just 380.8 yards per game on offense, but allows only 331.2 yards per game on defense. One big key is CMU will be without leading rusher Thomas Rawls, who rushed for 1,103 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
