According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Marshall is favored in this game, as the Thundering Herd are getting odds of -5 points against Connecticut. The over/under total for the game has been set at 44.5 points. These two meet today at 11AM ET on ESPN. The game will be played from Tropicana Field in Saint Petersburg, FL.

Connecticut (6-6, 5-7 ATS) has one of the stronger defenses in the country, allowing just 19.8 points and 352.3 yards per game, but they face a challenge in stopping Marshall (9-3, 7-5 ATS) today. The Herd are putting up 32.6 points and 401.3 yards per game this season thanks to the play of their quarterback, Litton. The 6-6 freshman has thrown for 2,387 yards and 22 touchdowns this season with just seven interceptions.

For today’s bowl game, oddsmakers have given Litton an over/under of 220.5 passing yards. The Huskies are giving up just 186.9 passing yards per game this season, but Litton has thrown for at least 221 yards in four games this year. He has yet to have a game without a touchdown pass, so look for him to get into the end zone at some point. The key for the yardage could come down to how competitive a game this is and if UConn makes it an ugly defensive battle.
