Western Michigan is off to a 6-0 start following a 45-30 win over Northern Illinois last week. The Broncos are now 2-0 in the MAC and 5-1 against the spread. Akron is 4-2 this season and 2-0 in the MAC following a 35-13 win over Miami (Ohio). Akron has taken some strides as a program under Terry Bowden, but Western Michigan is on another level than its MAC counterparts this year. P.J. Fleck has the Broncos playing as well as they perhaps ever have and this combination of offense and defense should be too much for the Zips to handle. The offense should score at will on Akron and the defense should be able to limit Akron, especially with Woodson dealing with an injury.
