Wisconsin unbeaten in Big Ten
Wisconsin has bounced back nicely from its loss to BYU weeks ago, beating Iowa and Nebraska in its last two games to move to 4-1 on the season. The Badgers are 2-0 in the Big Ten, 1-4 against the spread and 3-2 with the over.
The Badgers are led by their defense, which is holding opponents to just 16.4 points and 349.8 yards per game. On offense, Wisconsin is averaging 33.8 points and 480.2 yards per contest. Johnathan Taylor continues to be one of the leading rushers in the country with 849 yards and eight touchdowns. Alex Hornibrook has thrown for 963 yards and seven touchdowns with two interceptions.
Michigan stays undefeated
The Wolverines moved to 5-1 on the season last week with a 42-21 win over Maryland. Michigan is now 3-0 in the Big Ten, 3-3 against the spread and 3-3 with the over/under total.
Michigan has been led by its defense, which is allowing just 15.8 points and 230.5 yards per game. The Wolverines have a run defense that is giving up just 96.5 yards per game. On offense, Michigan is putting up 38.2 points and 420.7 yards per game. Karan Higdon has rushed for 582 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense. Michigan is hoping to add Chris Evans back in the backfield this week. He has missed the last few games with a leg strain and is questionable for Saturday’s contest. Shea Patterson has thrown for 1,187 yards and 10 touchdowns this year at quarterback.

Prediction:
It’s hard to know just how this is going to go. There is potential for this to be a grind with few points, and potential for it to be an offensive explosion. These two have hit the under in their last two meetings, but I like the over this Saturday. The Wolverines have put up big numbers at home. While they haven’t faced a defense as tough as Wisconsin, the Badgers have given up a fair amount of points to lesser offenses. Wisconsin may struggle to run on the Michigan defense, but I still expect Taylor to have some big gains. Michigan hasn’t faced a team this physical at home in 2018.
