Tim Tebow threw for a career-high four touchdowns and No. 14 Florida rebounded from back-to-back losses with a 45-37 victory over No. 8 Kentucky. It was the Gators’ 21st straight win against the Wildcats. Kentucky hasn’t beaten Florida since 1986, the third-longest current streak in the nation between major opponents who have played every year without interruption.

Mark Sanchez threw four touchdown passes and No. 13 USC beat Notre Dame 38-0, the largest margin of victory for the Trojans’ in the 79-game history of the storied rivalry. The Irish also lost 38-0 to Michigan earlier this season. The two 38-point losses are tied for the eighth worst losses in Notre Dame history. The loss ensures Notre Dame its 13th losing season since it started playing football in 1887, and its fourth losing season since 1999. It also is the fourth straight home loss, tying a school record.

Grant, also a senior, posted his first 100-yard game since his freshman season. … Backup tailback Jimmy Jackson had 59 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries for Missouri, filling in for Tony Temple, sidelined a second straight game by a sprained ankle. The Tigers beat No. 22 Texas Tech 41-10. … Reserve running back Mikell Simpson scored the winning touchdown with 16 seconds left, and Virginia beat Maryland 18-17 for its seventh straight victory. Simpson ran 16 times for 119 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 13 passes for 152 yards in the win.

No. 15 Kansas forced three turnovers and stopped Colorado on downs twice in the fourth quarter, escaping Folsom Field with a 19-14 victory. It was the Jayhawks’ first win in Boulder since 1995. The Jayhawks (7-0, 3-0 Big 12) have won seven straight to start the season for only the second time since 1968. The team also started 7-0 in 1995.

Grand Valley State won its 35th straight game to set an Division II record, beating Northwood 51-20. The last time the Lakers’ lost was Nov. 27, 2004, at North Dakota in the NCAA playoffs. … USC beat Notre Dame 38-0. It was the Trojans sixth straight over the Irish, the longest streak for USC against Notre Dame. … Todd Reesing completed 20 of 29 passes for 153 yards, with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Derek Fine in the fourth quarter in Kansas’ 19-14 victory over Colorado. Reesing has thrown a touchdown pass in a school-record seven straight games. … Oregon beat Washington 55-34. Jamar Brittingham became Bloomsburg’s career rushing leader, running for 257 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-28 victory over Millersville. Brittingham moved past Irv Sigler (5,034 yards) in the first quarter and pushed his total to 5,219 with his 10th career 200-yard game. Brittingham, who holds 23 school or conference records, moved within 428 yards of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rushing record of 5,647 held by California, Pa.’s Wesley Cates.
SINGULAR SENSATION
Freshman Jeremy Moses passed for 508 yards and three touchdowns in Stephen F. Austin’s 52-29 loss to Texas State. Moses’ 41 completions and 59 attempts were both school records for Stephen F. Austin (0-7, 0-3), and he threw the most yards by a Lumberjacks quarterback since 1989. Moses’ 508 yards passing was all the offensive yardage for the Lumberjacks, who finished with 14 rushes for no yards.
MIGHTY DUCKS
Jonathan Stewart rushed for a career-high 251 yards and two touchdowns, and No. 7 Oregon beat Washington 55-34. Stewart ran for 144 yards in the first half, had 198 at the end of the three quarters, and became the first Oregon back to rush for 200 yards since Ontario Smith set a school record with 285 yards against Washington State in 2001. The Ducks finished with a school-record 465 rushing yards.

Tim Webb threw for 396 yards and three touchdowns, including the winning score in overtime to lead Presbyterian past Coastal Carolina, 41-34. … Mike McCleod’s third touchdown, a 1-yard run in the third overtime, followed by a great defensive stand gave undefeated Yale a 26-20 victory over Penn.
