-Graham Harrell, Texas Tech, passed for 420 yards and two touchdowns as the Red Raiders upset No. 3 Oklahoma 34-27.
-Chris Wells, Ohio State, ran for a career-high 222 yards and two touchdowns in a 14-3 victory over Michigan that assured the Buckeyes of at least playing in the Rose Bowl.
-Tim Tebow, Florida, passed for a career-high 338 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score in a 59-20 victory over Florida Atlantic.
-Juice Williams, Illinois, ran for 136 yards and two touchdowns while passing for 220 yards and another score in a 41-22 win over Northwestern.
-Jeremy Maclin, Missouri, scored three touchdowns and had 252 total yards to help the No. 6 Tigers beat Kansas State 49-32.
-Zach Brown, Wisconsin, rushed for 250 yards and two touchdowns in place of injured starter P.J. Hill in a 41-34 victory over Minnesota.
-Calvin Williams, St. Francis (Pa.), rushed for 243 yards and three touchdowns in a 51-10 victory over La Salle.
-Louis Rankin, Washington, ran 21 times for 224 yards and a touchdown in the Huskies’ 37-23 win over California.

BLUE CRUSHED
Jim Tressel became the first Ohio State coach to beat Michigan six times in seven years, and the seventh-ranked Buckeyes’ 14-3 victory over their archrival gave them consecutive outright Big Ten titles. Ohio State has claimed three Big Ten titles in a row, earning the last two outright for the first time since 1954-55. It’s the longest streak of conference championships since Michigan won five in a row from 1988-92.

AIR RAID
Led by the passing of quarterback Graham Harrell, Texas Tech knocked No. 3 Oklahoma out of the national title chase Saturday night with a 34-27 victory. Harrell completed 47 of a career-high 72 passes for 420 yards and two touchdowns as the Red Raiders became the 11th unranked team this season to defeat a top-five team.

RETURN OF THE MAC
Missouri’s Jeremy Maclin scored three touchdowns and had 252 total yards to set the NCAA single-season freshman record for all-purpose yards, helping the No. 6 Tigers beat Kansas State 49-32. Maclin returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown and caught two touchdown passes, giving him 2,201 all-purpose yards for the season – 175 more than Terrell Willis of Rutgers had in 1993. Maclin finished with nine catches for 143 yards.

MILESTONES
Bobby Bowden won his 300th game at Florida State, getting 133 yards and a touchdown from Preston Parker in a 24-16 victory against Maryland. Bowden now has 373 career coaching wins, the most in major college history. … Matt Forte rushed for 194 yards to eclipse 2,000 for the season, and he scored five touchdowns to lead Tulane past Rice 45-31. Forte is the first back in the Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly Division I-A) with 2,000 yards in a season since California’s J.J. Arrington in 2004.

Harvard’s Chris Pizzotti threw a career-high four touchdown passes to lead the Crimson to their 12th conference title with 37-6 win over archrival Yale.

GROUND CREW
Jim Ollis, Ty Paffett and Chad Hall each eclipsed 100 yards rushing and combined for seven touchdowns to lead Air Force over San Diego State 55-23. Air Force ran for a season-high 569 yards.

BAD NEWS BEARS
Oklahoma State beat Baylor 45-14, giving the Bears their 12th straight losing season. The Bears are the only Big 12 team without a bowl appearance since the conference’s inception in 1996. This was the fourth time they didn’t win a league game. Only two other teams have gone 0-8 in the Big 12 – Kansas in 2002 and Iowa State in 2003.

STREAKS
BYU beat Wyoming 35-10 for its seventh straight win. … Mount Union beat Ithaca 42-18 to extend its winning streak to 34 games. … Boise State scored 41 unanswered points to beat Idaho 58-14 for the ninth straight time.

SETTING RECORDS
ed Tennessee State 43-38. Chapman scored his 48th touchdown, breaking the record of Bobby Fowler. … David Sinisi broke Monmouth’s single-season rushing record as the Hawks beat Duquesne 31-20. Sinisi finished the year with 1,184 yards, surpassing Chris Reed’s total of 1,166 yards in 1998. … Northeastern’s Maurice Murray ran for 182 yards and a touchdown in a 35-30 loss to Rhode Island. He finished his career with 3,806 yards rushing, breaking the school record of 3,692 set by L.J. McKanas, and 43 career touchdowns, breaking the Huskies record of 42 set by Dave Klemic.

STRONG IN DEFEAT
Jacksonville’s Chris Horton threw for 417 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-27 loss to Wagner. … Jeremy Trimble caught 11 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns in Army’s 49-39 loss to Tulsa. … Adam Weber threw for 352 yards and three touchdowns for Minnesota in a 41-34 loss to Wisconsin. … Rice’s Chase Clement passed for 353 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-31 loss to Tulane.
