EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon appeared to hurt his left leg in the fourth quarter of the Ducks’ game against Arizona State on Saturday night.
Dixon left the game after being tackled on an 11-yard run. The Ducks were up 35-16.
The Heisman Trophy contender had completed 13 of 22 passes for 189 yards and four touchdowns and had rushed 11 times for 57 yards.
He was replaced by Brady Leaf, but was later standing on the sidelines with his helmet on.
Dixon has had at least one rushing touchdown in every game this season, but had not had one against the Sun Devils when he left the game.
