NFL Week 14 Injury Report
The NFL Injury Report for Week 14 has plenty of names piling up. Here’s a look at the latest on who is in and who is out for Sunday’s action.
Beckham out for Giants
In somewhat of a surprise, Odell Beckham Jr. is out for the New York Giants today as they travel to Washington to face the Redskins at 1PM ET. Beckham is out with a quad injury. According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Giants are listed as a 3-point favorite on the road against the Redskins. Washington is already dealing with its own injuries, as the Skins are down to third-string QB, Mark Sanchez, for this game. Despite a lackluster season for the Giants, Beckham is having a strong year with 77 receptions for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns. He also has thrown two touchdown passes.
Steelers without Conner
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without star running back James Conner today when they go on the road to face the Oakland Raiders at 4:25PM ET. Conner suffered an ankle injury in last week’s game against the Chargers and was unable to return. The injury was severe enough to keep him out of today’s game. Oddsmakers are still listing the Steelers as a 10-point favorite on the road against the struggling Raiders. Conner has filled in nicely for Le’Veon Bell this year. He has rushed for 909 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching 52 passes for 467 yards and another score. Jaylen Samuels and Stevan Ridley are expected to handle the carries for the Steelers today in place of Conner.
Stafford questionable
Already without running back Kerryon Johnson and receiver Marvin Jones Jr., the Detroit Lions could also be without quarterback Matthew Stafford today as they travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals at 4:25PM ET. Stafford is dealing with a back injury that has him officially questionable to suit up. Oddsmakers are listing the Lions as the favorite on the road, giving them odds of -3 points against the Cardinals. Stafford has had somewhat of a disappointing year, throwing for 3,086 yards with 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He has been sacked 36 times and seems to be dealing with some nagging injuries over recent weeks.
