BUFFALO: The Bills are coming off a 50-17 loss to the Seahawks in Toronto. Buffalo has now lost three of their last four games, but they do own a 19-14 win over the Dolphins at home back on Nov. 15. The Bills were dominated in last week’s loss, as they allowed 466 yards to Seattle, including 270 rushing yards. On offense, Buffalo had 333 yards, but committed three turnovers. The lone bright spot for Buffalo in the loss was running back C.J. Spiller, who rushed for 103 yards on 17 carries. It was just the second 100-yard game for Spiller since the second week of the season. The 17 carries were the second-most Spiller had all season. He has rushed for 1,047 yards and six touchdowns on the year.
MIAMI: The Dolphins sit at 6-8 on the season, which has them 8th in the AFC playoff hunt. The Dolphins need to win out and get some help in order to make the playoffs, but they are still mathematically eligible. Miami is coming off a 24-3 win over the Jaguars last Sunday. It was just the second win for Miami in seven games. Miami had just under 400 yards of offense in the win while the defense held the Jaguars to 299 total yards. Miami was led by running back Reggie Bush, who had 104 yards on 21 carries. It was Bush’s first 100-yard game since the second week of the season, when he rushed for 172 yards. Bush had just 20 yards on 10 carries against the Bills on Nov. 15. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill was strong in the win over Jacksonville as well, as he threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns on 22 of 28 passing.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Miami is the favorite at home, as the Dolphins have odds of -4 points against the Bills. The over/under total has been set at 41.5 points. Miami is 6-8 on the season, 4-3 at home and 7-7 against the spread. Buffalo is 5-9 on the season, 2-5 on the road and 6-8 against the spread.
