Cowboys vs. Ravens Week 6 Odds
BALTIMORE, MD (The Spread) – The Ravens will look to stay undefeated at home this season when they host the Cowboys at 1:00PM ET on Sunday. Let’s check out the spread for this matchup.
DALLAS: As usual, the Cowboys have been inconsistent. They played inspired football in the season opener against the Giants, beating New York 24-17 as a 3.5-point underdog. But then they laid a stinker in Seattle and fell to the Seahawks 27-7 as a 3-point road favorite. They did pick up a 16-10 win over the Buccaneers in Week 3, but failed to cover and was then walloped 34-18 by the Bears on Monday Night Football in Week 4. Their record stands at 2-2 and 1-3 against the spread, while the under has covered in three of their first four games. Tony Romo has thrown for 1,148 yards on the season, while Miles Austin has a team-high three touchdowns.
BALTIMORE: The Ravens improved to 4-1 on the year but struggled in a 9-6 win over the Chiefs in Kansas City last Sunday. The win was Baltimore’s third in a row but it was also the third time in five games that the Ravens have failed to cover the spread. Joe Flacco leads the team with 1,456 passing yards, while Ray Rice has the team lead in rushing yards (419) and touchdowns (3). The over is 3-2 in the Ravens’ first five games.
ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Ravens as 3.5-point home favorites over the Cowboys, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 44 points. Dallas enters play with a 2-2 overall record and is 1-1 on the road, while Baltimore is 4-1 overall and 3-0 at home.
TRENDS: The Cowboys are 1-5 against the spread in their last six games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a straight up loss of more than 14 points. The Ravens, meanwhile, are 1-5 ATS in their last six home games and 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games in Week 6.
