The spread climbed to a high of 7 before falling all the way back to 4.5. The over/under total opened at 46 points and slowly climbed up to 47.5.
Seattle is coming off a 41-20 win over the Vikings for its sixth straight win. The Seahawks had a bye week last week, but suffered some losses in their defense, as cornerbacks Brandon Browner and Walter Thurmond are suspended indefinitely. Seattle has the top passing defense in the NFL and the whole unit is giving up just 293.3 yards per game. Offensively, Seattle is posting 358.4 yards per game. Quarterback Russell Wilson has thrown for 2,362 yards and 19 touchdowns to lead the offense while Marshawn Lynch has rushed for 925 yards and nine scores. The defense is being led by Earl Thomas, who has 78 tackles with four interceptions.
New Orleans is coming off a 17-13 win at Atlanta last week. The Saints have won three straight entering this game, with their last two wins coming by a total of 7 points. New Orleans has the second-best passing attack in the NFL this season and the offense is averaging 415 yards per game. Defensively, the Saints are giving up just 309.9 yards per contest. Drew Brees has thrown for 3,647 yards and 28 touchdowns this season to lead the team while Jimmy Graham has caught 65 passes for 946 yards and 11 touchdowns. The defense is being led by Cameron Jordan, who has 32 tackles with 9.5 sacks.
In terms of Injuries, defensive tackle Jordan Hill (bicep) and cornerback Tharold Simon (foot) are both questionable. New Orleans defensive end Glenn Foster (leg) and guard Jahri Evans (ankle) are also questionable.
