The Jets are coming off a 19-3 loss at Baltimore for their second straight loss. It is their first losing streak of the season, as they had alternated wins and losses in all other games. Geno Smith has thrown for 2,227 yards and eight touchdowns in his rookie season, but has 18 interceptions. The defense is being led by Muhammad Wilkerson, who has 46 tackles with 10 sacks.
The Dolphins are coming off a 20-16 loss to the Panthers at home. Miami has now lost six of their last eight games coming into this week’s content. Miami’s last four games have been decided by four points or less. Miami is producing only 310 yards per game on offense, while the defense is giving up 357.5 yards per game. Ryan Tannehill has thrown for 2,784 yards and 15 touchdowns to lead the offense, but has 12 interceptions. Brent Grimes is leading the defense with 39 tackles, three interceptions and 12 pass deflections.
In terms of Injuries, New York receiver Jeremy Kerley (elbow) and cornerback Antonio Cromartie (hip) are both questionable. Miami cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin) is questionable while running back Daniel Thomas (ankle) is out.
