The Falcons entered the bye with a 30-28 loss to the Jets to fall to 1-4. Atlanta has lost all of its four games by one score. Adding to the pain of another loss, Atlanta also lost receiver Julio Jones for the season to a foot injury. On the season, Atlanta is posting close to 400 yards of offense while the defense is allowing 372.2 yards per game. Matt Ryan has thrown for 1,649 yards and 10 touchdowns this year while Tony Gonzalez has 33 catches for 339 yards and three touchdowns.
Tampa Bay fell to 0-5 on the season last week with a 31-20 loss to Philadelphia. The Bucs have failed to score more than 20 points in any game this year and are posting just 290 yards per game. Defensively, Atlanta is giving up 350 yards per game. Mike Glennon has started the last two games and thrown for 466 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Doug Martin has added 409 rushing yards with one score.
In terms of Injuries, Tampa Bay cornerback Michael Adams is questionable with a knee injury while guard Carl Nicks is out with a foot injury. Atlanta receiver Roddy White is doubtful with a hamstring injury while tackle Sam Baker is doubtful with a knee injury.
