The Broncos are coming off a 34-31 loss in overtime to the Patriots. Denver held a 24-0 lead in the game, but couldn’t do much to slow down the New England offense in the second half. Peyton Manning has thrown for 3,722 yards and 36 touchdowns this season while Knowshon Moreno has rushed for 824 yards and nine scores. Moreno is questionable for the game with an ankle injury. The defense is being led by Danny Trevathan, who has 94 tackles with four tackles for loss and three interceptions.
Kansas City is coming off a 41-38 loss to San Diego for its second straight loss, including the loss to Denver on the road two weeks ago. The Chiefs have been led by their defense all season, allowing just 350.9 yards per game, but the unit is dealing with some injuries to key players, including Justin Houston, who is out for a few weeks with an elbow injury. Houston has 11 sacks on the season and two fumble recoveries. The offense is posting just 326.8 yards per game and is led by Jamaal Charles, who has 918 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while catching 53 passes for 425 yards and two scores.
In terms of Injuries, Kansas City tackle Eric Fisher (shoulder) and linebacker Tamba Hali (ankle) are both questionable. Denver tackle Winston Justice (finger) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (shoulder) are both questionable as well.
