LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – How do the oddsmakers in Las Vegas cap the Week 14 schedule in the NFL? Let’s check out the odds.
NFC West rivals clash in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon when the 49ers host the Seahawks at 4:25PM ET. According to oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage, the Niners are 3-point favorites over the Seahawks, who are 11-1 and coming off a 34-7 thrashing of the Saints on “Monday Night Football.” The favorite is 5-1 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams, while the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings.
First place in the NFC South will be on the line on Sunday night when the Saints host the Panthers on “Sunday Night Football.” Both teams are 9-3 on the year, while New Orleans is 6-0 at home and Carolina is 4-2 on the road. Oddsmakers favor the Saints by 3.5, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 45.5 points.
On Monday night two teams who still have aspirations of winning their respective divisions will square off in Chicago when the Bears host the Cowboys as a 1.5-point home underdog. Speaking of the underdog, the dog is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams.
On Thursday night the Jaguars host the Texans as 3-point underdogs while the Chiefs are a 3.5-point favorite in Washington. The Ravens, meanwhile, are 7-point home favorites versus the Vikings while the Patriots are 11.5-point favorites against the Browns. The Bengals are also 5.5-point home favorites versus the Colts, while the Eagles are 2.5-point favorites versus the Lions.
