Cincinnati is 6-3-1 overall, 2-2 on the road and 5-4-1 against the spread. Houston is 5-5 overall, 2-2 at home and 6-4 against the spread. Houston has won five straight meetings with Cincinnati.

The over/under total for the game has been set at 43.5 points (View Matchup). The opening odds for this game had Houston favored by a point. The spread then slowly worked up to 1.5. The over/under total opened at 44 points but quickly dropped to 43.5.

Houston is coming off a 23-7 win over the Browns on the road. The team got a nice boost in the win from new quarterback Ryan Mallett, who threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Alfred Blue also provided a big boost by rushing for 156 yards in place of the injured Arian Foster. Houston is now averaging 354.4 yards per game on offense while allowing 389.5 yards per game on defense. The defense is being led by J.J. Watt, who has 44 tackles with 9.5 sacks and an interception.

Cincinnati is coming off a 27-10 win at New Orleans last week. The Bengals have won three of their last four games and have a slim lead in the AFC North over Pittsburgh. The team is averaging 346.3 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing 385.7 yards per game. Andy Dalton has thrown for 2,180 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the offense while Mohamed Sanu has caught 44 passes for 671 yards and four touchdowns. The defense is led by Reggie Nelson, who has 68 tackles with 1.5 sacks and two interceptions.

In terms of Injuries, Houston running back Arian Foster (groin) and cornerback Kareem Jackson (knee) are both questionable. Cincinnati running back Giovani Bernard (hip) and linebacker Vontaze Burfict (knee) are also questionable.
