MINNEAPOLIS, MN (The Spread) – The Atlanta Falcons are looking to get a road win on Sunday when they face the Minnesota Vikings at 4:25PM ET on FOX.

The Falcons are coming off an impressive 56-14 win over the Tampa Bay Bucs last week. Atlanta is now averaging 333.7 yards per game through the air this season, which ranks No. 1 in the NFL. Matt Ryan has thrown for 965 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the offense while Julio Jones has caught 23 passes for 365 yards and three touchdowns. The Atlanta defense hasn’t been great, giving up a lot of yards, but they have made some big plays. Joplo Bartu is leading the unit with 21 tackles and a pair of fumble recoveries.
Minnesota hasn’t had much luck this season. The Vikings have lost two straight following a 20-9 loss at New Orleans last Sunday. Already without Adrian Peterson for his off-the-field issues, the Vikings lost quarterback Matt Cassel for the season with a foot injury last Sunday. Rookie Teddy Bridgewater will now get the start at quarterback. He has 150 passing yards in limited action this year. Cordarrelle Patterson has rushed for 95 yards to lead the team while catching 11 passes for 143 yards as well. Minnesota’s defense has been led by Harrison Smith, who has 15 tackles, one sack, one interception and four pass deflections.
In terms of Injuries, Atlanta receiver Harry Douglas (foot) and running back Antone Smith (hamstring) are both questionable this week. Minnesota linebacker Chad Greenway (ribs) is doubtful while tight end Kyle Rudolph (groin) is out indefinitely.
