Cam Newton has thrown for 1,643 yards and eight touchdowns this year, but the team is lacking much of a run game, with Newton rushing for 214 yards to be second on the team by three yards. Rookie receiver Kelvin Benjamin has caught 38 passes for 571 yards and five scores this year, while Luke Kuechly is leading the defense with 89 tackles and one sack.
