TAMPA BAY: The Bucs have been an absolute train wreck through three weeks of the season. They’re 0-3 straight up and 0-3 against the spread, as their latest loss came in a 56-14 blowout on Thursday Night Football last week in Atlanta. The team ranks 30th in total yards offensively, 32nd in passing yards and 20th in rushing. The defense hasn’t been much better despite the hiring of Lovie Smith, as the unit is 28th in total yards allowed, 23rd in passing yards allowed and 31st in points allowed per game. Josh McCown is also dealing with a hand injury, although Smith maintains that McCown will be his starting quarterback as long as he’s healthy.

PITTSBURGH: The Steelers walloped the Panthers 37-19 as a 3-point road dog last Sunday night to improve their record to 2-1 on the year. They’re just 1-2 against the spread, however, while the over has hit in two of their first three games. They rank 5th offensively and 1st in rushing yards per game (163.3), while the defense ranks 18th in total yards allowed, 13th in passing yards allowed and 22nd in rushing yards allowed. Antonio Brown has a team-high three touchdowns while Le’Veon Bell has rushed for 315 yards in three games.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Steelers are 7.5-point favorites over the Bucs while the over/under total is currently sitting at 45 points. Pittsburgh opened as 8-point favorites before the line was bet down, while the total opened at 43.5 before being bet up.

NFL FREE PICK: Take the over. According to latest NFL trends, the over is 7-1 in the Buccaneers’ last eight games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game. The over is also 4-0 in the Steelers’ last four games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game and 5-1 in their last six games on grass. The over is also 4-1 in the Steelers’ last five games in September and 6-2 in their last eight games overall.
