JACKSONVILLE: The Jaguars fell to 0-3 on the season with a 44-17 loss at home to the Colts last week. They’re now 0-3 against the spread as the over has hit in all three of their games this season. That’s because they rank 32nd in total yards allowed per game, 32nd in passing yards allowed, 32 in rushing yards allowed and 32nd in points allowed. Coach Gus Bradley has decided to make a change at quarterback, benching Chad Henne in favor of rookie Blake Bortles, who will make his first NFL start today.

SAN DIEGO: The Chargers improved to 2-1 on the season with a 22-10 win over the Bills last Sunday in Buffalo. They’re also a perfect 3-0 at the betting window while the under has hit in two of their first three games. They rank 10th in total yards allowed, 14th in passing yards allowed, 10th in rushing yards allowed and fifth in points allowed at 16.3 per game. Dwight Freeney leads the team in sacks with 10 while the secondary has improved greatly from a year ago. Offensively, the Chargers rank 19th in total yards, 12th in passing, 26th in rushing and 13th in points scored. Philip Rivers has thrown for 778 yards and Antonio Gates has a team-high three touchdowns.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Chargers are 13-point favorites over the Jaguars while the over/under total is currently sitting at 45 points. San Diego opened as 10.5-point favorites before the line was bet up, while the total opened at 46 before being bet down.
