That dropped the Jets’ record to 1-2 straight up and 0-2-1 against the spread this season. The over has hit in two of the team’s first three games as the offense ranks 8th in the league in total yards and the defense ranks 2nd, including first in rushing yards per game at just 55.0. Smith has a team-high 713 passing yards while Chris Ivory has been the leading rushing with 189 yards and two touchdowns.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Lions are 2-point favorites over the Jets while the over/under total is currently sitting at 45 points. Detroit opened as 1-point road underdogs before the line swung in its favor, while the total opened at 45.5 and has been bet down.
