NFL Week 9 Point Spreads
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The point spreads and over/under totals have been posted for Week 9 in the NFL. Here’s a look at the odds for some of the better matchups for this week.
The week gets kicked off on Thursday night when NFC South rivals the Saints and Panthers square off at 8:25PM ET. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Panthers are a 2-point home underdog versus the visiting Saints while the over/under total is currently sitting at 48 points. Carolina actually opened as a 2.5-point favorite but the line has flipped since New Orleans destroyed Green Bay on Sunday night.
One of the more intriguing matchups this Sunday takes place in Dallas when the Cowboys host the Cardinals at 1:00PM ET. The line for this game is currently sitting at -4 in favor of Dallas, although this number could change depending on what happens in tonight’s matchup between the Cowboys and Redskins on Monday Night Football. Right now, the total for the Arizona-Dallas matchup is sitting at 48 points.
One of the best late matchups takes place in Foxboro when Tom Brady and the Patriots host Peyton Manning and the Broncos at 4:25PM ET. New England opened as a 4-point home favorite but the line has dropped to 3 at most online and Vegas sports books. With oddsmakers expecting a high-scoring game, the over/under is also sitting at 55 points after opening at 54.
The other two primetime matchups for Week 9 has the Giants host the Colts at 8:30PM ET on Monday night and the Steelers hosting AFC North rival the Ravens at 8:30PM ET on Sunday night. While Pittsburgh is a 1.5-point home favorite over Baltimore, New York is a 3-point home underdog versus Andrew Luck and Indy on MNF.
