Falcons vs. Saints Odds
The sixth week of the NFL Season gets underway on Thursday when the New Orleans Saints host the unbeaten Atlanta Falcons at 8:25PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Falcons are favored on the road in this game, as they are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Saints. The over/under total for this game has been set at 51.5 points. The home team is 6-1 against the spread in the last 7 games of this series and the underdog is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings.
Atlanta is coming off a 25-19 OT win over the Redskins last week. The Falcons are putting up 32.4 points and 417.2 yards per game on offense this season, while the defense is giving up 22.4 points and 370.6 yards per game. Matt Ryan has thrown for 1,456 yards and six touchdowns to lead the offense while Julio Jones has caught 43 passes for 545 yards and four scores. Jones is questionable for the game with a hamstring injury. Devonta Freeman has come on strong as of late, rushing for 405 yards and eight touchdowns while catching 24 passes for 240 yards.
New Orleans is coming off a 39-17 loss at Philadelphia last week. The Saints are now averaging just 20.6 points per game while the defense is giving up 28.6 points and 417.4 yards per game. Drew Brees has thrown for 1,304 yards and six touchdowns this season while Willie Snead has 22 catches for 381 yards and a score. The New Orleans defense is led by Hau’oli Kikaha, who has 27 tackles with three sacks.
