According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Indianapolis is the clear favorite to win this game, as the Colts are getting odds of -6 points against the Jets. The over/under total for the game has been set at 45 points. The Jets have won three of their last four against the Colts and covered the spread in four of the last five in this series. These two have hit the over in five of their last six meetings.

The Jets opened the season with a 31-10 win over the Browns at home last weekend, covering a 3.5-point spread in the process while going over the total of 39 points. New York only had a 333-321 edge in total yards in the win, but the Jets defense had three sacks and created five turnovers. David Harris had eight tackles and a sack to lead the defense, but the unit did lose Antonio Cromartie in the game with a knee injury. He is questionable to play. The offense was led by Chris Ivory, who had 91 rushing yards and two scores, but he is dealing with a groin injury coming into tonight’s contest.

The Colts started the season with a 27-14 loss at Buffalo despite being a 1-point favorite coming into the game. Indy also went under the total of 44.5 points. Indy was held to just 304 yards of offense by Buffalo and had three turnovers. Andrew Luck was only 26 of 49 passing for 243 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. T.Y. Hilton caught seven passes for 88 yards, but suffered a knee injury that has him questionable for tonight’s game. A big issue for the Colts was the run game, which had just 64 yards on 17 carries.
