According to oddsmakers at GTBets, the Eagles are the slight favorite on the road, as they are getting odds of -3 points against the Skins. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47 points. The road team is 11-5-1 against the spread in the last 17 games of this series and these two have hit the over in 4 of their last 5 meetings.

Philadelphia is 1-2 on the season, 1-2 against the spread and 3-0 with the under. After an 0-2 start to the year, the Eagles finally got in the win column last week with a 24-17 victory at the Jets. Philly certainly hasn’t had the high-powered offense many expected. The team is posting just 19.3 points and 285.3 yards per game thus far. They are one of the worst in the league in rushing at just 64.3 yards per game. DeMarco Murray didn’t play last week because of an injury, but he has just 11 yards on 21 carries this season. Ryan Mathews broke out last week with over 100 yards to improve the team’s run stats. Sam Bradford has thrown for 678 yards and three touchdowns, but also has four interceptions. The Philly defense has struggled against the pass thus far, allowing 272 yards per game. The defense is led by Connor Barwin, who has 12 tackles and two sacks.

Washington is 1-2 on the season, 1-2 against the spread and 2-1 with the under. Washington beat the Rams at home two weeks ago, 24-10, but followed it up with a 32-21 loss at the Giants last week. Washington is putting up good numbers on offense, averaging 143.7 rushing yards and 371.7 total yards per game while the defense is also limiting opponents to just 277.3 total yards and 75 rushing yards per game, but it isn’t producing results. Turnovers are part of the problem as Kirk Cousins has thrown for 715 yards and three TDs, but he also has four interceptions. Jordan Reed is off to a good start at TE, as he has 19 receptions for 241 yards with a touchdown. The defense is being led by Keenan Robinson, who has 24 tackles. The defense is in need of big plays though, as they have created just one turnover in three games.
