Raiders vs. Bears Odds
The Oakland Raiders look to get off to a surprising 3-1 start when they hit the road to face the Chicago Bears at 1PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, the Raiders are favored on the road, as Oakland is getting odds of -3 points against Chicago. The over/under total for the game has been set at 45 points. The home team is 4-1 in the last five between these two and the Bears are 4-1 against the spread in their last five against the Raiders.
Oakland is 2-1 on the season, 2-1 against the spread and 3-0 with the over. The Raiders have won their last two, picking up a 37-33 win over the Ravens and a 27-20 win over the Browns. The Raiders are giving up 28.7 points per game while posting just 25.7 per game, but they have managed a winning record regardless. Derek Carr has thrown for 726 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense while Latavius Murray has rushed for 248 yards and two touchdowns. Rookie Amari Cooper has caught 20 passes for 290 yards and a touchdown to help the offense as well.
Chicago is 0-3 on the season, 0-3 against the spread and 2-1 with the over. The Bears are coming off a 26-0 loss to the Seahawks on the road last week and they have lost their last two by a combined 51 points. The Bears are averaging just 15.3 points and 308 yards per game on offense while giving up 35 points and 338.7 yards per game. Chicago was without Jay Cutler last week with a hamstring injury and he is doubtful for this week. Jimmy Clausen has 184 yards in his limited action. Matt Forte has rushed for 276 yards and a touchdown to lead the offense. The defense has struggled and the team traded Jared Allen to Carolina this week, which will only lessen the unit’s ability.
