According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Philadelphia is the slight favorite at home, as the Eagles are getting odds of -5 points against the Cowboys. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 55 points. The road team has covered the spread in 6 of the last 7 in this series and the Cowboys are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 trips to Philadelphia.

Dallas started the season with a 27-26 win over the Giants at home last weekend. The Cowboys didn’t cover a 7-point spread while going over the 52-point total. Dallas scored the winning touchdown with just seven seconds left in the game. Tony Romo had 356 passing yards with three touchdowns to lead the team to the win, but he and the offense suffered a big loss as Dez Bryant broke a bone in his foot and he will be out indefinitely.

Philadelphia is coming off a 26-24 loss at the Falcons. The Eagles couldn’t cover a 3-point spread and went under the 55-point total. Philadelphia fell behind big early and couldn’t quite finish off the comeback in the loss to Atlanta. The Eagles had 399 yards of offense in the win while allowing 395 yards to the Falcons. Sam Bradford threw for 336 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in his Philly debut. The issue for Philly was its run game, which had just 63 yards. DeMarco Murray had only 9 yards on eight carries in his debut with the team.
