Redskins vs. Falcons Odds
The Atlanta Falcons look to improve to 5-0 on the season on Sunday when they host the Washington Redskins at 1PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at GTBets, the Falcons are the clear favorite in this game, as Atlanta is getting odds of -7.5 points against the Redskins. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 48 points. Atlanta has won four straight over Washington entering this game, and the Falcons are covering the spread in three of those four victories.
Atlanta is now 4-0 on the season, 4-0 against the spread and 2-2 with the over/under total. The Falcons picked up a 48-21 win over the Texans last week and they have scored at least 24 points in all four games this year. Atlanta is now averaging 34.2 points and 414 yards per game while the defense is giving up 23.2 points and 395.8 yards per game. Devonta Freeman has blown up the last two weeks, rushing for over 200 yards with six touchdowns while catching 10 passes for 133 yards. Matt Ryan has thrown for 1,202 yards and six touchdowns this year while Julio Jones has 38 receptions for 478 yards and four scores.
Washington is 2-2 on the season, 2-2 against the spread and 3-1 with the under. The Skins are coming off a 23-20 home win against the Eagles. They are 2-1 at home, but suffered a 32-21 loss to the Giants in their lone road game. Washington is scoring 19.5 points per game on offense, but the defense is allowing just 19.8 points and 309.2 yards per game on the season. Kirk Cousins has been inconsistent at QB for the team as he has 1,005 passing yards and four touchdowns, but also has four interceptions. The defense is being led by Chris Baker, who has 13 tackles with 2.5 sacks.
