The Detroit Lions hope to pick up their first win this week when they host the Chicago Bears on Sunday at 1PM ET on FOX.

According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, the Lions are the slight favorite in this game, as Detroit is getting odds of -3 points against the Bears. The over/under total for the game has been set at 43.5 points. The Lions have won four straight meetings with the Bears and the Lions are 5-1 against the spread in the last six of this series.

Detroit is 0-5 on the season, 1-4 against the spread and 3-2 with the under. The Lions fell to 0-5 last weekend with a 42-17 loss at home to the Cardinals. Detroit is now averaging just 16.6 points and 328.2 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing 27.6 points and 394.2 yards per game. Matthew Stafford has thrown for 1,205 yards and six touchdowns, but has eight interceptions and he was benched last week in the loss. He will still be the starting QB. Calvin Johnson has caught 32 passes for 322 yards and a touchdown to lead the offense. The Detroit defense is led by Ezekiel Ansah, who has 16 tackles with five sacks.

Chicago is 2-3 on the season, 2-3 against the spread and 3-2 with the under. The Bears have won back-to-back games over the Raiders and Chiefs by a combined three points. Chicago is averaging 17.2 points and 328.6 yards per game on offense, while the defense is giving up 28.4 points and 316 yards per game. Jay Cutler is leading the offense with 878 passing yards and six touchdowns while Matt Forte has run for 438 yards and has 171 receiving yards with two total touchdowns. The defense is led by Pernell McPhee and Jarvis Jenkins each have three sacks.
