Redskins vs. Jets Odds
The New York Jets are fresh off their bye and looking to pick up another win on Sunday when they host the Washington Redskins at 1PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Jets are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -6 points against the Redskins. The over/under total for the game has been set at 40.5 points. Washington has won four of its last five against the Jets, but New York is 2-0-1 against the spread in those last three meetings. These two have hit the over in four of their last five meetings.
New York is 3-1 on the season, 3-1 against the spread and 3-1 with the under. The Jets are coming off the bye, but they had a 27-14 win over Miami in London prior to that. The Jets are putting up 23.8 points and 358.2 yards per game on offense this season while allowing just 13.8 points and 294 yards per game on defense. Ryan Fitzpatrick is leading the offense with 924 yards and seven touchdowns while Chris Ivory has run for 314 yards and three touchdowns. Brandon Marshall has chipped in with 30 receptions for 400 yards and three touchdowns while the defense is led by David Harris, who has 27 tackles and two sacks.
Washington is 2-3 on the season, 3-2 against the spread and 4-1 with the under. The Redskins are coming off a 25-19 loss to the Falcons last week and they haven’t won or lost back-to-back games this season. Washington is scoring 19.4 points and posting 366.6 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing 20.8 points and 333.4 yards per game. Kirk Cousins has thrown for 1,224 yards and five touchdowns this season while putting up six interceptions. The defense is led by Chris Baker and Ryan Kerrigan, who each have 3.5 sacks.
