According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI the Broncos are currently listed as 7-point home favorites over the Colts for Sunday’s 4:40PM ET kickoff. The total for this game has settled in at 54 after opening at 53.

The Colts have dominated the spread in recent meetings between these two teams, going a perfect 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games against the Broncos. The last time these two teams met was in Week 1 of this season when the Colts covered as 8-point road dogs in a 31-24 loss in Denver.

The Broncos jumped out to a 24-7 lead at halftime in that game but they couldn’t pull away for bettors before Andrew Luck hung 17 points on Denver’s defense in the final two quarters, including 14 points in the fourth quarter. The Broncos’ offense went into hibernation in the third quarter while not scoring, but did add a touchdown in the fourth.

The total in that game was similar to the one for Sunday’s playoff matchup as oddsmakers settled in at 53 points for kickoff in Week 1. With the combined score of 55, the Colts and Broncos played over the total but it took a Hakeem Nicks 9-yard touchdown pass from Luck with 3:26 remaining in the game in order to hit.
