ARLINGTON, TX (The Spread) – The final playoff game of the opening weekend has the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Detroit Lions. Here’s a look at who the public is betting on.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Dallas is the favorite in this game, as the Cowboys are getting odds of -6.5 points against the Lions on Sunday. The over/under total for the game has been set at 48 points (View Matchup).

When it comes to the public betting for this contest, Dallas is getting plenty of support, as the Cowboys are getting 72% of the wagers with odds of -6.5 points against the Lions. The 72% is the most of any team in the four playoff games this weekend. This game will take place on Sunday at 4:40PM ET on FOX.

The public is jumping on Dallas, who is the hottest team entering the playoffs have covered the spread in four straight games, but one concern is a 4-4 record at home this season. The Lions haven’t won a playoff game since 1991 and haven’t won a playoff road game in over 50 years.
