Public strongly behind Cowboys
ARLINGTON, TX (The Spread) – The final playoff game of the opening weekend has the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Detroit Lions. Here’s a look at who the public is betting on.

When it comes to the public betting for this contest, Dallas is getting plenty of support, as the Cowboys are getting 72% of the wagers with odds of -6.5 points against the Lions. The 72% is the most of any team in the four playoff games this weekend. This game will take place on Sunday at 4:40PM ET on FOX.
The public is jumping on Dallas, who is the hottest team entering the playoffs have covered the spread in four straight games, but one concern is a 4-4 record at home this season. Dallas is just 1-3 ATS in its last four at home. However, Detroit hasn’t been known for being a strong road team and Matthew Stafford is 0-17 in his career on the road against a winning team. The Lions haven’t won a playoff game since 1991 and haven’t won a playoff road game in over 50 years.
