Rams vs. Cardinals Free Pick
NFC West rivals clash in Arizona today when the Rams visit the Cardinals at 4:25PM ET. Will this matchup be relatively low-scoring?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cardinals are favored by a touchdown over the Rams while the over/under total is currently sitting at 42 points. St. Louis enters play with a 1-2 record and is 1-2 against the spread, while Arizona is a perfect 3-0 both against the spread and straight up.
The Cardinals have scored 31, 48 and 47 points, respectively, in their first three games but they have yet to be tested by a decent defense. They’ll receive that test on Sunday when they host the Rams and St. Louis’ dynamic pass rush, which features Aaron Donald and Robert Quinn. It’s highly unlikely that the Cardinals will sniff 30 points today like they did in three consecutive wins to start the season.
Offensively, the Rams have been a mess outside of their Week 1 win over the Seahawks. They can’t run the ball and that has meant consistent third-and-long situations for quarterback Nick Foles. They don’t have any playmakers in the passing game with Todd Gurley not ready to assume a full workload yet, St. Louis isn’t suddenly going to hang a lot of points on Arizona’s underrated defense.
