NFL Week 5 Las Vegas Odds
The NFL heads into its fifth week of the 2015 season and with that, let’s take a look at the spreads for this week per Las Vegas oddsmakers.
The largest road favorite in Week 5 is the New England Patriots, who are 8-point favorites on the road versus the Dallas Cowboys according to oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas. The Cowboys are severely banged up, losing quarterback Tony Romo, receiver Dez Bryant, linebacker Sean Lee and running back Lance Dunbar over the first four weeks of the season. Don’t be surprised if the line in this game continues to go up in favor of New England.
The largest spread for this week is in Green Bay where the Packers are 9.5-point home favorites versus the Rams. Despite coming off an impressive win as a 7.5-point road underdog in Arizona last week, St. Louis is listed as nearly a double-digit dog. This likely has everything to do with the Packers, who the public continues to pound every week at the betting window. They’re 4-0 straight up and 4-0 against the spread.
Finally, the smallest point spread in Las Vegas is the intriguing matchup between the Seahawks and Bengals in Cincinnati. The undefeated Bengals are currently listed as a 1-point home favorite against the Seahawks, who are coming off back-to-back wins but who are also coming off a short week having beaten the Lions on Monday night.
