Public Betting: Public Bettors Backing Road Team

As of this writing, our NFL Public Betting page shows that 65% of bets are on San Francisco. That said, this page is updated frequently so make sure that you click on the link provided so that you’re getting the most updated information.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers last played last Thursday night in an absolutely disgusting 12-6 rainy horrible weather loss to the Rams. Shoutout to all “No touchdown” betters as 6 field goals brought the only scoring to the game. The Rams hit 3 field goals in the 4th quarter to take the lead and win the game. The 49ers have made it down to their 4th string running back as Isaac Guerendo has been ruled out for this game. Also Trent Williams is out at left tackle.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins suffered a tough 20-12 loss last week to the Houston Texans. Tua Tagovailoa completed 29 of 40 pass attempts for 196 yards and a touchdown. He also tossed 3 interceptions on the day. De’Von Achane rushed for 41 yards on 12 carries and added 35 receiving yards. Malik Washington led receivers with 52 yards. The defense had a fumble recovery, 4 sacks and 6 tackles for loss. Some injury concerns at wide receiver for the Dolphins, Jaylen Waddle has not practiced all week and is listed as doubtful so he will most likely not find the field on Sunday. Tyreek Hill is listed as questionable with a wrist/rest. After not practicing on Wednesday, he practiced in full on Thursday, however followed that up with a limited participation on Friday.

San Francisco is 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games against Miami

The OVER is 5-1 in San Francisco’s last 6 games against Miami

Miami is 4-3 ATS in their last 7 games

The OVER is 5-0 in Miami’s last 5 home games

49ers vs. Dolphins Prediction:

Take the Dolphins to cover the spread at home on Sunday evening. For purposes of this article I am going to assume that at the very least Tyreek Hill will be able to go in this matchup. Malik Washington led the team in receiving last game, Jonnu Smith has been a stud all season, and De’Von Achane is a great receiving back. I think the Dolphins will be able to overcome the Waddle injury. On the other side, the 49ers are down to their 4th running back. They have lost 4 of their last 5 games, with the one win coming against the Bears. San Francisco is 1-5 ATS on the road this season and head all the way across the country for this matchup. I’ll roll with the Dolphins to bounce back at home on Sunday.

49ers vs. Dolphins Prediction: Dolphins +2
