Christian McCaffrey (knee) is not on San Francisco’s final Week 17 injury report. McCaffrey is being managed and we all know it. He’s an overall RB1 candidate in Week 17 against the reeling Raiders. Despite being limited on Wednesday he was never in any real doubt to miss the game. The biggest threat to McCaffrey in Week 17 looks to be an in-game benching if the 49ers drub the Raiders by too much.
Las Vegas Raiders DFS Spin
Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said Jarrett Stidham will start for the remainder of the season. The Raiders are opting to bench Derek Carr for the final two games of the year. Carr is coming off a three-interception meltdown against the Steelers. The loss didn’t mathematically eliminate them from the playoffs, but it did realistically boot them from the postseason. The rumor mill has been abuzz with the idea that Las Vegas will trade Carr in the offseason. If that is the plan, there’s no point in trotting him out for the remainder of the 2022 season. Still, the move to Stidham can only be viewed as a downgrade for the entire offense. Stidham has thrown two touchdowns and four interceptions on 61 career attempts. He will not be a viable streaming option for the final week of the fantasy season.
